Abstract

This study aims to examine the perception of millennial farmers in Tulungagung Regency
towards the use of an Android-based farming business analysis application, namely KalkuTani.
Using the Technology Acceptance Model (TAM) model, this study evaluates two main
variables: perceived usefulness and perceived ease of use. Data was obtained through a survey
with a closed questionnaire to 100 millennial farmers who used this application. The results showed that the majority of respondents had a positive perception of the KalkuTani application, with 65% showing a high interest in agricultural technology. Despite barriers such as high initial investment costs and limited infrastructure, about 45% of respondents are willing to invest further in agricultural technology. The study recommends increasing technological literacy, infrastructure development, and policy support to encourage technology adoption among millennial farmers. These findings underscore the importance of more inclusive and focused strategies to increase the uptake of agricultural technologies to improve efficiency and productivity in the sector.
